Dance like no one's watching.



I was watching the choreography of Rite of Spring by Pina Bausch just now. Awesome. I'm not going to upload the video here because the content was rather inappropriate. So I'll just leave the link where I mention the tributes to Pina Bausch(: Watch it and you'll understand why its impactful. If you observe closely, you can see the stains on the dancers' clothings. The main reason is because the stage was filled with soil. Soil on Stage. The dancers had to spin on it. I don't think the point here was that the dancers had to be synchronised. It was the way they executed their steps. The thrust and the certain amount of energy that was given in each step.

Phyllis was so touched that I was the first one to wish her Happy Birthday(: Of course, I called her. She'll give me a hug on monday(: Rina was talking to me bout her iPhone and Torres. HAHA, so interesting. And I'm like the first to talk to her for 24h non-stop. As in messaging. Then we talked bout the future and how it was different in theatre acting and TV. Well, its so much more different. I'm sure she knows what I'm talking bout.
